Some open-air jamming in this episode, including a few song fragments that have never before been heard. Almost no advertising in this episode too, which I particularly liked making happen. Putting up ads on an audio podcast when the compensation is dependent upon begging is akin to free advertising and I get about tired of that sort of nonsense! Original material heard this time includes, “Happy To Know You” from my second solo album called “Just A Second Now” (I know, clever name, right?), also “Layin’ Back”, song fragment jams “I’m alive”, and “Waiting In Time.

More music than conversation this time around. I’ve got a few gigs coming up. Original music this week includes acoustic renditions of “All My”, “As The Moment Passes By”, “Hour Of Midnight”, and “Childhood Dream”. My post-episode, porch-sittin’ cover is a humble rendition of a Men At Work cover called “Down Under”. Me as well as my old band Frozen Pop were mentioned on last weeks “Hometown Heroes” program on WSTW-FM Wilmington, so I put that little excerpt at the end there. Cheers!

Booking a few more gigs here and there, I’ll be performing at The Stottsville Inn and Busy Bee Pub in Pomeroy, PA this Friday evening from 7-10 PM – hope a lot of people can make it out for some live music at a very cool place!

Lots of great current event talking points in this particular episode – plus a bunch of newly compiled original music recordings, including “See The Light”, “Images”, “The Freedom That Could Be”, and “The Keeper Of  The Memory”. My post-episode porch-sittin’ live cover is my acoustic rendition of Nick Lowe’s “Cruel To Be Kind”.

After extensive work on my new album “Go With What You Feel”, this podcast was a long-time-a-comin’. What is the result for the wait? Well, it sounds like the podcast is being played on an old record player and that the record has a scratch in it. I don’t know what’s up with that particular recording device, but I’ll use the studio next time! My GMO rant, while not abated, has broadened to include other topics concerning the world that are messed up. I’m looking forward to my upcoming gig on Friday evening at the Stottsville Inn and Busy Bee Pub outside of Coatesville, PA from 7-10PM, part of what I mentioned in the podcast. Original music this time includes a newer song that may end up on a 4th solo album (I’ve comprised a list of the material for the next 2 solo albums, be they within the scope of Providence) entiltled, “Holding On To You”, followed by an open-air solo version of “Looking For In Love”, and older song and recording of “Across The Wall”, followed-up by a work-in-progress called, “Be Alright”. My post-episode, porch-sittin’ tune is an Imagine Dragons’ cover called “Radioactive”.

These are all free podcasts, so you can just “Save Target As” or however your browser lets you save .mp3 files. Chrome lets you play the podcasts right within the browser if you wanted to listen and not save it to your hard drive. Anyway, I meant to post this one last night but I got a little side-tracked. It’s easy for that to happen since I have a fairly large family!

This week my discussion points weren’t on GMOs quite as much, although I did talk briefly about the movie “Santo” which is being made (and I support). I ended up talking about other genetic weirdnesses being perpetrated against humanity by the scientific community – and there’s quite a barrage. Then again, disinformation fed to Americans by their own government is also at a all-time high. Sort of makes one wonder what is the truth exactly.

I’ve been gigging again lately. Last week I got to jam with my long-time friend and associate Chris McDonough, just for a couple of songs; but, it made me wax nostalgic a little on the podcast. Original music this week includes, “More Curious Still”, and then the song called “Anyway” I just heard on WSTW’s Hometown Heroes program on 7/21 from my second album “Just A Second Now”. Other original songs were also songs I used to play and record with Chris, the next one was one of the first songs we ever jammed out on together, from 1992, called, “Trace Of Sadness” followed by another song I wrote which was on the radio back in 2000 on WSTW as well as WXPN entiltled, “The Fleeting Moment”. My post episode cover this week is something special. It’s a song my grandmother wrote in the 1960’s, a country song called “Happiness”. It’s a short song, but I liked it a lot when I recently heard it. Cheers!

Of course I’m still talking about the evils of GMOs…in the interem, however, my original compositions this time include open-air renditions of, “Cold Night”, “Just What It Is”, and “Looking For In Love”. For the traditional post-episode song I cover The Outfield’s “Your Love”.
